Students in the country are exploited by the MHRD and Aicte!!!

Students in the country registered at Aicte who have had taken admission in masters on the basis of GATE/GPAT scores have started receiving Aicte scholarships.

After taking admissions in first half of 2015, students were waiting for the first payment of the scholarship for almost six months. Yesterday the process of disbursement has started. All this students are eligible for 12400 INR stipend, but government has released stipend on the basis of old rates which was 8000 INR.

After six months what they get is RS. 8000 instead of RS. 12,400.

This seems to be injustice to the students coz the existing fees of the SFD colleges have reached up to RS. 2lac per annum and still they are not paid what they deserve.

The letter of recommendation for revision of stipend was passed last year on 18^th February.

The duality of government can be seen from this incident, whenever a college appeals to hike its fees the government & Aicte passes it instantaneously but when it is about to provide the scholarship to the students they just ignore them!!!!!!!!

For all the students who want to know why they are getting 8000RS. in place of 12400RS.
