यह शायद सबसे अच्छा Android पर कसरत एप्लीकेशन है। यह सरल, और समय की बचत करने के लिए आसान है। ये मूल रूप  से  केंद्रित है छोटी, उच्च तीव्रता कसरत पर,  जो वैज्ञानिक रूप से साबित है और वास्तव में आपके शरीर से उन अतिरिक्त पाउंड से छुटकारा  दिलाता है । आपको सिर्फ एप्लिकेशन डाउनलोड करने की जरूरत है और फिर आप तैयार हो। आपको कोई पंजिकरण या ऐसी  सभी बाधाओं के माध्यम से जाने की जरूरत नहीं है।

2.  एंड्रॉयड डिवाइस मैनेजर।

इस एप्लीकेशन को लॉंच किया गूगल ने अपने उपयोगकर्ता की मद्दद  करने के लिए जैसे की अगर उनके उपकरण खो जाए या फिर अपने ऑनलाइन उपकरणों का प्रबंधन करने  के  लिए ।  आप एक ब्राउज़र से अपने खाते में प्रवेश कर सकते हैं और अपने फोन को एक्सेस कर सकते  है। आप अपने फोन का पता लगाने के लिए उन्हें सुरक्षित और यदि जरूरी हुआ तो पूरा डाटा मिटा सकते हैं। आप इन सुविधाओं का उपयोग करने के लिए एप्लिकेशन व्यवस्थापक पहुँच देने की जरूरत है लेकिन एप्लिकेशन गूगल द्वारा बनाया गया है के रूप में ही आप उस पर भरोसा कर सकते हैं।

3.  फ्लैक्सी।

अगर आपके  पास  गूगल कीबोर्ड नहीं है  या इस का उपयोग नहीं कर रहे हैं तो  उपयोग करने के लिए ये  सबसे अच्छा कीबोर्ड है। ये प्लेस्टोर पर उपलब्ध सबसे सरल कीबोर्ड है जिसमे हजारो शॉर्टकट और जेस्टर्स है । इसका अनुभव इसके उपयोग के साथ और बेहतर होता जाता है ।

4.  इ एस फ़ाइल एक्सप्लोरर

      खैर समय के साथ इ एस फ़ाइल एक्सप्लोरर कुछ सच में महान सुविधाओं के साथ ऊपर आ गया है और अब यह प्ले स्टोर पर उपलब्ध यह कई सुविधाओं और विकल्पों के साथ अपने क्षेत्र में केवल एप्प  है। आप एक अन्वेषक, ज़िप या अनज़िप, फ़ाइलों को खोलना, फोल्डर हाईड , डाउनलोड प्रबंधक, क्लॉउड स्टोरेज के रूप में इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं और अन्य कई सुविधाये है ।  मैं इस एप्प  के सभी सुविधाओं पर अगर चर्चा करु , तो मुझे  इसे खत्म  करने के लिए एक और लेख लिखना पड़ेगा।

5.  गूगल मैप्स

आप सबसे अच्छा क्षुधा उपलब्ध बारे में बात कर रहे हैं, तो आप इस एक बाहर नहीं छोड़ सकते। पिछले कई सालो में काफी सारे एप्प्स ऑफलाइन मैप्स के साथ निकल चुके है पर अबतक गूगल मैप्स की जितनी सटिकता मिली नहीं किसी और एप्प में। इसमें  नक्शे के किसी विशेष क्षेत्र को बचाने का फीचर जोड़ा गया है। तो बुनियादी तौर पर गूगल के नक्शे में यह इस खंड में सबसे अच्छा क्षुधा बनाने के लिए आवश्यक सभी सुविधाओं है।

                      

6.  लास्ट पास 

यह एक पासवर्ड मैनेजर है और निःशुल्क प्लैस्टोर पर उपलब्ध है। आप एक बुनियादी भुगतान के बाद अपनी प्रीमियम सेवा प्राप्त कर सकते हैं और उस के साथ आप भी अपने डेस्कटॉप को  इस एप्लिकेशन के साथ सिंक कर सकते हैं। यह आपके पासवर्ड की बचत होती ही नहीं बल्कि जो एप्प्स आप अक्सर उपयोग करते है उन्हें ऑटो-फिल करता  है।

7.  पॉकेट

इस एप्लिकेशन से आप वेब पृष्ठों को सेव कर सकते है और बाद में पढ़ सकते हैं या आप जब भी उन्हें उल्लेख कर सकते हैं। मैं जानता हु  वास्तव में आसान लगता है, लेकिन अभी भी यह हर स्मार्टफोन उपयोगकर्ता के पास होना  चाहिए। आप अपने फोन से न केवल बल्कि अपने डेस्कटॉप ब्राउज़र से  पृष्ठों को बचा सकता है। आप  सिर्फ इस सॉफ्टवेयर की एक ऐड-इन इन्स्टॉल करे और अपने खाते में प्रवेश कर सकते है ।

8.  गूगलप्ले म्यूजिक

खैर गूगल अपने सेगमेंट में बनाए रखने और शीर्ष पर अपनी स्थिति बनाए रखने योग्य एप्प्स  बनाने की एक आदत है। गूगलप्ले म्यूजिक इनमे से एक है। यह सिर्फ एक म्यूजिक प्लेयर  नहीं है, लेकिन अगर आप गाने डाउनलोड कर सकते है  उन्हें रेट कर सकते है और यहां तक कि अपने दोस्तों और रिश्तेदारों के साथ अपने खाते साझा कर सकते हैं। तो बुनियादी तौर पर आप भी अपने संगीत एलबम का चयन करने में दूसरों के विकल्प मिल सकता है।

फिर गूगल के अनुप्रयोग के एक वर्ष के शीर्ष 15 क्षुधा में एक जगह पाने के लिए सफल हुआ है। तस्वीरें इस साल केवल शुरू किया गया था, लेकिन यह अपनी शुरुआत के बाद से उपयोगकर्ताओं का एक बहुत आकर्षित करने में कामयाब रहा । यह न सिर्फ एक छवि गैलरी, लेकिन यह भी उपयोगकर्ता छवियों के कुछ बुनियादी संपादन करने की अनुमति देता है और भी तस्वीरें एप्लिकेशन के माध्यम एलबम, महाविद्यालय और एल्बम और फ़ोटो का साझा करने जैसे कुछ वाकई दिलचस्प सुविधाओं है। आप क्लॉउड  पर छवियों को स्टोर कर सकते हैं और अपने डेस्कटॉप से उन तक पहुँच सकते हैं।

यह एप्लिकेशन प्लेस्टोर पर मुक्त है, लेकिन अपनी सुविधाओं में से कुछ संस्करण केवल भुगतान किये जाने पर उपलब्ध हैं। मैंने दोनों, मुक्त संस्करण और भुगतान संस्करण का इस्तेमाल किया और सिफारिश करूँगा इस एप्लिकेशन को इस्तेमाल करने का भले फिर आप मुक्त संस्करण यूज़ करे। इस एप्लिकेशन के साथ आप पूरे नए स्तर पर अपने फोन के देखो अनुकूलित कर सकते हैं। आप माउस, उसके आकार, फ़ॉन्ट, लॉक स्क्रीन, स्क्रॉल और सुविधाओं की अन्य पूरी गुच्छा बदल सकते हैं। यह आप वास्तव में अभी भी आप सुविधाओं पर कोशिश करने के लिए छोड़ दिया होगा अपने फोन को अनुकूलित कर दिन बिता सकते हैं कि इतने सारे विकल्प प्रदान करता है।

HTC One X9

HTC has officially outed its new One X9 smartphone.

The Asian manufacturer has chose Christmas Eve to announce its new One X9 is coming to take on the affordable yet powerful handset manufacturers like Huawei and Xiaomi. But it won't be in time to get one for a Christmas pressie.

The HTC One X9 will pack a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 401 pixels per inch. Behind that, powering the handset, is an octa-core MediaTek X10 processor backed by 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2000GB via a microSD card.

The HTC One X9 runs Android and is powered by a 3000mAh non removable battery. It measures 153.90 x 75.90 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 170.00 grams. In combination with that efficient eight-core Cortex A53 chipset that should eek out plenty of life.

The rear camera on the X9 is a 13-megapixel f/2.0 snapper with optical image stabilisation and dual-tone flash plus RAW support. In the front is 5-megapixel front shooter an UltraPixel f/2.0 selfie snapper. Also on the front are dual BoomSound speakers.

The HTC One X9 will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will cost 2,399 yuan which is about £250. A release date has not yet been announced, nor has where the phone will be available to buy.

The HTC One X9 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

Hello friends! As the countdown begins for 2016, I would like to bring back some flashback of some of the most successful apps which were leave their mark on its users. I would concentrate on the free apps only because I know still most of us would not like to spend money of apps.

Well the list begins now.

1. Seven Minute Workout.

This is probably the best workout app on android. It’s simple, easy to follow and time saving. It basically focuses on short, high intensity workouts which are scientifically proven and can actually help you out to get those extra pounds off your body.

You just need to download the app and you are ready to go. You need not to go with registration and all the hassles which other apps ask you to go through.

2. Android Device Manager.

This app was launched by Google to help the users to find out their devices if lost and to manage their devices online. You can login into your account from a browser and can get access to your phone. You can locate your phone, secure them and wipe out the entire data if required. You need to give the app administrator access in order to use these features but as the app is built by Google only you can rely on it.

3. Fleksy.

This is the best keyboard to use if you are not having Google keyboard or not using it. It is one of the easiest keyboards available on playstore with tons of shortcuts and gestures.

Its experience gets better as you keep on using it.

4. ES file explorer.

Well over the time ES file explorer has come up with some really great features and now it is the only app in its field with this many features and options available on play store. You can use it as an explorer, zip and unzip files, hide folders, download manager, cloud storage and the list goes on. If I discuss all the features of this app I think it would take another article to finish its usability.

5. Google Maps.

If you are talking about the best apps available, you cannot leave this one out. Many apps have been released in last few years with offline maps but still the accuracy with which Google maps works still cannot be achieved. It has also added the feature of saving any particular area of the map. So basically Google maps has all the features required to make it the best Apps in this section.

6. LastPass

It a password manager and is available on Playstore without any charges. You can get its premium service after a basic payment and with that you can sync this app to your desktop also. It not only saves your passwords but also auto fills them on the apps which you use frequently.

7. Pocket.

This app allows you to save webpages which you can read afterwards or refer to them whenever you want. I know it sound really simple but still this is one of the apps which every Smartphone user must have. You can save pages not only from your phone but also from your desktop browser. You just need to install an addin of this software and login into your account and you are good to go.

8. Google Play Music.

Well Google has a knack of making the apps which can sustain into their segment and maintain their position on the top. Google Play Music is also among one of these apps. It is not just a music player but you can download songs, rate them and even share your account with your friends and relatives. So basically you can get choices of others also in selecting your music albums.

9. Photos

Again one of Google’s App manages to get a spot in the top 15 Apps of the year. Photos was launched this year only but it managed to attract a lot of users since its launch. It not just a image gallery but it also allows user to do some basic editing of the images and has some really interesting features like albums, Collage and sharing of albums and photos via Photos app also. You can also store the images on cloud and can access them from your desktop.

10. Khan Academy.

With large number of followers of Khan Academy and a large user database Khan Academy app was an instant hit. It is only app to cover such variety of topics with detailed explanation and videos on the topics. It is definitely one of the best apps in the knowledge and learning section.

11. Nova Launcher.

This app is available for free on the Playstore but some of its features are available on the paid version only. I have used both the free version and paid version of this app and I would recommend you to use this app even though you are using the free version only. With this app you can customise the look of your phone to whole new level. You can change the icons, its size, fonts, lock screen, scrolling and other whole bunch of features. It offers so many options that you can really spend days customising your phone still you will have features left to try on.

12. Evernote.

This note taking app has taken long strides in this field and is now not limited to simple note taking only. You can actually write down the reminders or notes instead of typing them. You can add images as notes. You can make your notes as reminders also. All these features made this app one of the most popular app in this field.

13. Pushbullets.

This app connects your cell to your desktop through a web browser. You can transfer files, check notifications, answer messages for some of the services. This app comes in handy for regular uses and is really simple to use.

14. English.

This dictionary app brings in a really huge database of words and you need to get online every time you use this app. It gives you detailed meanings, synonyms and sentences related to the word. Its really simple to use this app and comes in really handy for regular usage.

15. Whatsapp.

Well Whatsapp has to be in here otherwise the list won’t look complete. Many messaging apps have started gaining ground in the last year but still the user base of Whatsapp is far ahead of any of these apps. Whatsapp has upgraded in the last one year and has added some cool features but still lags behind other apps when it comes to transferring files, no of emogis etc. But still it will always have of advantage of being the first of its kind in the messaging field.

Nexus 5 updated to android Marshmallow 6.0.1

The latest update from google for android 6.0 is available. This is the first update to the marshmallow OS version released earlier this year. This update basically contains few new features, bug fixes and performance enhancements. There is not much that you can expect from this update but still after installing it I can find some improvement in the performance of my Device.

Few things to you need to know about this update.

Double Tap Power Button for Camera.

Google is a late entrant in the quick launch settings field. With the launch of its Nexus 5x and Nexus 6P devices, it first launched this feature. Now with this update it has been given into other devices also.

With this update you can launch your camera by double tapping the Power Button. You can use this feature when you are using the phone or when the phone is locked. So basically now you can launch the camera with just the snap of a finger.

 Do not Disturb Control

Google has tweaked this feature and now you can mute all your notifications or select the notifications you want to keep and mute rest. The do not disturb feature was already available but now google has added the feature to control the notification also.

 Set of New Emogis

Google has added a new set of emogis in its keyboard. Android users have always complained that they are the last ones to get new emogis and google has looked into it and has added a new set of emogis in its keyboard.

Security Patches

There have been some addition in the security patches and as per its promise google is trying to provide new security patches every month to make the device more secure.

All in all as I said this update is not going to bring any drastic change in your device but yes you should update to 6.0.1. One difference which I have noticed in my device is that its standby battery life has increased. Earlier my device would consume 9-10% during night without any wifi or internet service but now it consumer less than 3%. Also during day if not used my battery backup has improved. I know the doze feature was launched with android 6.0 but think they have made some improvements to this feature with this update. I did not find any official confirmation on google updates regarding this but still you can confirm this as per your experience and usage.

It's a beast

One smartphone maker is learning the hard way why you shouldn't promise more than you can deliver. Yu (partly owned by India's Micromax) has unveiled the Yutopia, which it bills as the "most powerful phone on the planet." There's only one problem: it isn't. You'll find plenty to like in the Cyanogen OS handset between its 5.2-inch quad HD display, Snapdragon 810 chip, 4GB of RAM, 21-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front shooter, fingerprint reader and 3,000mAh battery. However, you've seen all of this or better in phones released months ago, odds are that you bought a Galaxy Note 5 or Nexus 6P if you were determined to get the best specs.

However, you might forgive Yu's stronger-than-usual marketing bluster when you see the price. The Yutopia will sell for 24,999 rupees off-contract, or about $377, when it reaches India on December 26th. Given that even Motorola's fine Moto X Pure Edition costs $399 in the US, you're getting a whole lot of phone for the money.

                    Google Photos – A lot to know about

Google Photos is one of those apps which we use quite frequently but few of us actually know how to use it to its full potential. Google has loaded this app with tons of features which all of us don’t know about. Photos app was launched during the 2015 I/O and it comes with the new os android update. So basically all the smartphones running on the updated OS will have this app by default.

 Since its launch Google Photos has undergone many changes. Frankly speaking I did not find it user friendly when it first came to my phone and replaced Gallery app. I was accustomed to the easy going folder view of Gallery. So I immediately went to the play store and downloaded gallery again. But since then Photos has evolved a lot and has become an essential part of my phone.

It is free on playstore and gives you bunch of features for photo management. It offers unlimited photo storage (only 16Gb free then chargeable)  with 16MP high resolution images and 1080p videos. Photos is also available on IOS also. Even you can download it on your desktop which gives seamless access to all your photos and videos in your handsets.

Let’s get through the some of the coolest features of photos app.

1.     Easy upload of photos and videos from Desktop.

Just visit photos.google.com with your google login and that’s it. You need to drag and drop you photos on the page. It’s as simple as it sounds. I tried doing it from a windows xp pc just to see if its compatibility is not limited to any windows os and I did not find any problem. It is really simple to use.

2.     Duplicates bye-bye

Google Photos is not just a photo viewer. It also understands the photo content. So let’s say you have two duplicate photos in your phone using up extra memory. Photos will merge those duplicate photos thereby cleaning up a lot of space on your phone.

3.     Adding labels

Now you can add labels to the photos you click. Photos allows to add description and labels to the photos. So next time you want find any photo just click on the search icon on the photos app home page and you can get easy access and find your favorite clicks instantly.

To add label to your photos open the photos>go to info and you can add the description of the photo. This feature is only available with the photos uploaded on the drive. So in order to use this feature you must upload the image on google drive first.  Before uploading you can choose the quality of the images you want to upload. Just go to Menu>Settings>Backup &  Sync>upload Size.

4.     Selecting Photos made simple

Google has given some really simple ways of selecting multiple photos. You just to press long on any one photo so that it gets selected. Then you can glide your finger through all the photos you want to select and it gets selected. Pretty Simple!

From your desktop you can do it in the same old way of pressing the shift key and selecting

5.     Pinching gestures.

You just need to use swipe and pinching operations to change the view. If you pinch outwards the view will zoom in and you will get larger image views. If you pinch inwards the images will get smaller and you will have small thumbnails with more and more images as you continuing pinching inwards. In the end you will have month wise view of images.

6.     Chromecast  Support.

Yep it’s true. You don’t need to prep up a projector or do anything at all to show images from your phone to a big screen. You just need a chromecast. You can select which photos you want to show on TV and even do the same with gif and videos.

7.     Slow – Fast scrolling.

You can scroll down the images in the traditional way by using your fingers and sliding them on the screen. But what about someone who is a photo lover and has a device full of photos. For that you can use the fast scrolling method. You just need to click on the fast scroll available on the right side of the screen and drag it up or down to move through the images quickly.

8.     Image Editing.
      Photos app allows you to do the basic editing of the images. It does not comes with all the features available in those heavy built photo editing apps still for day to day use basic editing functions are available. You can add shades to your images, crop them, enhance the colour quality etc.

        

9.     Full of swiping.

Photos gives you many shortcuts with swiping on the screen. If you are viewing an image in full screen and you swipe downwards you will go the back to the image list. Swipe right you will go the stories page where you can view the albums creates by you. If there are no albums the assistant is there to help you out to create one.

10.   Animations

You can club your photos in an animated view using the Photos app. You just need to select the no of photos you want to use for the animation and click on the + sign. You will get a bunch of options such as album, movie, story or animation. You can share these animations also.

11. Easy Sharing.

You can share your photos in the old traditional way by email, whatsapp, Bluetooth or by other means. But Photos offers a great new method to share your photos as albums. You just need to select the photos you want to share and click on the share button. You will get an option to create a link. This link is then copied to your system clipboard. You can share this link with your friends and relatives. On opening the links they will find a gallery containing only the photos you selected. They can even download these photos quite easily.

If the person is signed into a Google account and is having Photos app, he can directly add the photos to his gallery. This has taken the whole concept of photo sharing to a new level.

There is an important feature without which the concept of photo sharing is incomplete i.e. Revoking the rights to view the photos. You can get into situations in which you share a photo you did not want to and now you want to revoke the access to that photo. Google has made provisions for that also. Just go to Menu>shared links and you can find the images you shared. Now you can remove the images you don’t want others to look at. Of course those who have viewed the photo can still take a dig at you but still saves from a bigger embarrassment.

12. Space Saving.

You can remove the backed up images from your phones. After uploading the photos you don’t need to allocate those extra mb’s or in many cases those extra gb’s. You can remove these photos. You need to get to Menu> settings> free up device storage. Photos will come with the ways in which you can save some extra space.
