The Yota Devices YotaPhone 2 runs Android 4.4 and is powered by a 2500mAh non removable battery. It measures 144.00 x 69.50 x 8.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 140.00 grams.
The Yota Devices YotaPhone 2 is a single SIM (GSM)
smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS,
Bluetooth, NFC, 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient
light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
Beyond a near stock version of Google’s operating
system, the phone also runs YETI 2.0 for its e-paper back panel.
The
YotaPhone 2 can run a full version of Android on its e-paper screen, which
comes in handy if you’re trying to conserve battery life. The company also
offers a variety of ways to customize the back panel with different widgets and
notifications, ranging from updates on your favorite sports teams, to fitness
tracking data to a remote for your TV.
It offers
some pretty solid hardware, including a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 801
processor, a 2500mAh battery, an 8-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of
storage. Those may not be cutting edge specs, but considering the 4.7-inch
e-paper display in back the YotaPhone 2 is still a pretty special device.
