Smartphones
have become an important part of our life. Our dependency on smartphones is
increasing day by day. Its usage is not limited to just calling and gaming. Now-a-days
banking, travelling, shopping, hotel bookings etc etc all this is done on
smartphones only. Smartphones have become an integral part of our life without
which it may become difficult for many of us to survive.
With
this increasing dependency battery life of smartphones is also going down. We
need to charge them frequently and it is not possible to find a charging point
everywhere, at least not in India.
So
the only options we have is to use a phone with more than 10000mAh or get a
battery bank. The first option is a distant future still out of our reach. But
the second one is feasible enough. Battery Banks are now available in a wide
range in terms of battery power and pricing. I will list down some of the most
famous battery banks available in India in 1500-2000 INR range.
1. Xiaomi Power Bank.
(5000,10000,16000mAh)
Well this one deserves to be
on the no. 1 spot. Xiaomi has launched 3 power banks with 5000mAh, 1000mAh and
16000mAh. Each one being best in their range. Xiaomi’s power banks are price
competitive, easy to use, good design and a good bargain. Till now I have not
heard much complaints about Xiaomi’s battery banks. There are no heating
problems and the overall look with a metallic finish is also good.
Some distinct features about
the product are:
Overcharging / Undercharging
protection.
2.1 A output
LED indications.
Fast Charging Port.
The only problem with this
product is that it does not come with a wall charger. You need to arrange it separately.
2. OnePlus Power Bank
(10,000mAh)
The only reason why I have placed this Power
bank above Asus and Huawei is because of its good design. OnePlus came in the Power
bank field with this gadget just after Xiaomi.
OnePlus is always lauded for its phone’s sleekness and design. Same can
be said about its Power bank. It costs around 1399 and is a good deal still you
can find power banks cheaper than this one with same mAh rating. It come with
dual USB ports and gives a 2 A output.
3. Huawei Honor AP007
(13000mAh)
It looks more or less like
Xiaomi’s 10000mAh model but its capacity is 13000mAh. It also has two ports and
is available in grey colour only. Output is same 2.0 A
4. Lenovo PA (10,000mAh)
Lenovo also came into the
Power bank business with this Product. But it is slightly costlier than other
competitors and also little bigger in size. It claims 80% conversion rate which
is slight higher than regular 70-75% which makes this product seal its 4th
spot in the list. It has a standard 2.1 A output.
5. TP Link (10,500mAh)
Again this one is also a bit
costly but comes with two USB port with 2.0 A and 1.0 A charging capacity. This
might be useful to some who don’t want to use 2.0 A charger cause it is
understood that higher the charging capacity of the charger higher the strain
on phone battery. It may cost around 2000A and comes in a cylindrical shape.
6. Karbonn Polymer 10
(10,000mAh)
It costs around 1600 Rs but the distinct
feature which helps this Power bank to get into this list is that it comes with
a LCD display. This bank also comes with two ports with 1.5A and 2.0A USB ports
charging capacity. Overall if you are ready to pay some extra bucks I would
recommend this battery bank after Xiaomi.
