Hello Friends, I have come up with a good news.
Netflix has finally launched it services for Indian Viewers. Not only India, it
will be launched in 130 other markets in Asia except China. I believe China
still needs to wait quite long for this to happen. Not getting into
political matters, I would like to give you the details about the packages that
Netflix is going to offer in India.
In India, Netflix has come up with an initial package
of 500 Rs with which you enjoy unlimited on demand TV, movies and video
streaming on 1 SD screen. The no of screens and the display quality of the
content increases with the amount. With 650 Rs you get HD content for 2 screens
while for 800 Rs you will get 4K UHD content for 4 screens. You can get the
subscription from Neflix website or its app available for Android, Windows and
IOS platform.
Now the details of SignUp
During signup you need to enter you age and if you
enter it above 18 you can go for censored content. You need to enter your
credit card details during sign up but it you doing it through android or IOS
platform you need not to worry because they have you card details. One good
thing Netflix is offering is that you can get a one month free subscription
with signup. After that you will be billed as per your opted plan.
Now one advice to all those who are going for Netflix.
Please ensure that you have a good data package with unlimited usage. Otherwise
you will end up paying huge amounts in internet bill. As per Netflix HD content
streaming can consume up to 3GB data per hour and SD streaming can take up to
700 MB data per hour.
With the entrance of Netflix into Indian market life
is going to be tough for Indian Players like Hotstar, Hugama and TVF. TVF
planned to become the next Netflix in Indian market but with Netflix coming to
India, TVF must come up with a whole new approach to tackle this giant. Netflix
is planning to rope in some Indian more Indian partners to get Indian Content
also.
So, all in all a good news for Indian Users. They now
get full Netflix content on their PC's, Laptop, Mobiles etc. I think now is the
time to look for those HDMI cables or for Chromecast if you are planning to all
this content on you LCD screens.
