"FAIRPHONE" launched the Fairphone 2 the world's first modular phone.

Fairphone launched the "world's first modular smartphone" ahead of the google which also working on a similar project namely "Aura"

For those who don't know about project aura or modular phones, smartphone is made of modules which we can think of parts like camera, display, processor, speaker etc. All these modules will be connected to each other with the help of attachments or magnets. its just like a puzzle in 3D. When the puzzle gets completed it takes the shape of the phone.
So what's the advantage of using this phone?
Whenever u feel that your smartphone is outdated, just change the module like as for example i have an camera in my smartphone with resolution of 8 Mp and i want a better camera, what i will do is just get a new camera module from the market and replace the camera. No need to buy a new smartphone. All the above modules like camera, display, processor, speaker can be changed.
The phone is still in development stage and it would take time for different modules to hit the market, so better to wait and watch it rise then buy it.Price is around 530 (approximately 38000 INR)
